DESCRIPTION:FOR UNDER 8 YEAR OLDS &\nRED AND YELLOW BELT UNDER 16 YEAR OLD PLAYERS\nSaturday 13th April 2024\nWe take great pleasure in inviting you to the Holbrook Judo Club Easter Judo Festival 2024 at Brune Park school\, Military Road\, Gosport PO12 3BU. \nEntry fee: £15.00 (entry fee payment details will be sent when you register). \nAll Entries must be received by Saturday 16th March 2024\, entries on the day will not be permitted. \nWeighing in times: Will be advised with weigh ins being staggered throughout the day\, Please note all entry fees are non refundable \nA valid in date Licence will be required to enter the competition. \nPlayers will be grouped into pools with players of similar weights & medals will be awarded to all players. \nThis Judo festival has been organised to enable low grade competitors to enjoy learning the rules of Judo competition in a relaxed and friendly environment with clubs supporting each other in the spirit of Judo and friendship. \nWe look forward to welcoming you al to our Judo Festival. DESCRIPTION:Eligibility: \n\nCompetitors must be over 8 years of age on the day of the competition\nSenior competitors must be aged 14 years and over on the day of the competition\nAll competitors must present a valid BJA licence or a BJA affiliated association licence at the weigh-in together with proof of grade – no exceptions will be made\nThis is a closed event\, for Hampshire registered players only\nMedallists may be selected for the Inter-County Teams in Kent on 12th May 2024\nNo refunds will be issued after the closing date\n\nContest Information: \n\nArmlocks or strangles only allowed in the Senior event\nMethod of competition will be pools throughout & current BJA rules will apply\nMedals will be presented throughout the day\nAll competitors must wear suitable footwear at all times when off the mat\nWhite or blue judogi may be worn (if blue you must bring a white one too)\nWhere possible provide players to provide their own blue and white belts\nOnly matside qualified coaches with a valid card will be allowed matside to coach\nIn the event of any disputes\, the decision of the Tournament Director will be final\nThe Tournament Director reserves the right to combine categories if necessary\nVideos and photographs may be taken on the day and used on social media\nAll players must weigh in with t-shirt and trousers with a 0.8kg allowance provided\nMales may compete in a white t shirt if they choose to do so.
